Bill Brown, is a highly respected retired member of the Billy Graham team. We all should take his assessment of Obama very seriously. Many conservative Americans share his concern about the ‘rock star’ image Obama has and watch with growing concern at the celebrity status the media has foisted upon him.

The Obama Tidal Wave
We are witnessing a political phenomenon with Barack Obama of rare magnitude. His speeches have inspired millions and yet most of his followers have no idea of what he stands for except platitudes of ‘Change’ or that he says he will be a ‘Uniter’. The power of speech from a charismatic person truly can be a powerful thing. Certainly Billy Graham had charisma. Both his manner of speech and particularly the content changed millions. On the extreme other hand, the charisma of Adolph Hitler, too, inspired millions and the results were catastrophic. Barack Obama certainly is no Hitler or a Billy Graham, but for many Americans riding on the Obama Tidal Wave it is just like a surfer who might be ecstatic and euphoric while riding a tidal wave, but the reality of the ride is what happens when it hits shore. Just Some of What Defines Barack Obama: . He voted for partial birth abortion.. He voted no on notifying parents of minors who get out-of-state abortions.. Supports affirmative action in Colleges and Government (quotas)… In 2001 he questioned harsh penalties for drug dealing as being too severe.. Says he will deal with street level drug dealing as minimum wage affair.. Admitted his use of marijuana and cocaine in high school and in college.. His religious convictions are very murky.. He is willing to meet with Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Kim Jung Il and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.. Has said that one of his first goals after being elected would be to have a conference with all Muslim nations. Why?. Opposed the Patriot Act.. First bill he signed that was ever passed was campaign finance reform.. Voted to allow law suits against gun manufacturers.. Supports universal health-care.. Voted yes on providing habeas corpus for Guantanamo detainees.. Supports granting driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants.. Supports extending welfare to illegal immigrants.. Voted yes on comprehensive immigration reform.. Voted yes on allowing illegal aliens to participate in Social Security.. Wants to make the minimum wage a ‘living wage’.. Voted with Democratic Party 96 percent of 251 votes. (241 votes Demo, 10 votes Republican). Is a big believer in the separation of church and state.. Opposed to any efforts to Privatize Social Security and instead supports increasing the amount of tax paid into Soc. Sec. Tax Increase.. He voted No on re pealing the Alternative Minimum Tax which now hits middle income brackets. Tax Increase.. He voted No on repealing the ‘Death’ Tax. Tax Increase.. He wants to raise the Capital Gains Tax. Tax Increase…. Has repeatedly said the surge in Iraq has not succeeded…which is not true.. He is ranked as the most liberal Senator in the Senate today and that takes some doing. If your political choices are consistent with Barack Obama’s and you think that his positions will bring America together or make it a better place, then you will probably enjoy the ride and not forward this Email. If you are like most Americans that after examining what he stands for, are truly not in line with his record, it would be prudent to get off the wave or better yet, never get on, before it comes on shore and undermines the very foundations of this great Country. 20 Good Creative Capitalistic Ideas to Solve The Current Economic Crisis in America:

1. Pass the Fair Tax Plan (H.R. 25/S. 1025); all American citizens and non-citizens alike pay a consumption tax rate of 12% on all new and used goods purchased; change the tax laws to replace the IRS and repeal the 16th Amendment; repeal the Inheritance Tax; Death Tax; and Marriage Penalty Tax.
2. Repeal the Social Security Act signed by President Franklin Roosevelt in 1935; privatize Social Security for all new 9 digit card holders; privatize Social Security for citizens already in the system who volunteer to transfer their account
3. Repeal NAFTA [North American Free Trade Agreement] which took effect in 1994. The data clearly shows the damage NAFTA has done to millions of jobs and people living in the U.S., Mexico and Canada. This will allow more Americans to start small businesses and build companies that produce goods. It will bring lost jobs back to America. The tag “Made in the USA” needs to appear on more U.S. goods.
4. Repeal all minimum wage laws because they prohibit employers from paying their workers below a certain amount. Such laws “help” poor people by making it illegal for unskilled workers to get jobs. Companies, businesses, corporations should not be forced by the government to pay a set minimum wage to any employee on any job level. This is out of the playbook of Keynesian economics, which denies biblical economic law and the principles of the free market system and Capitalism. John Maynard Keynes was a defunct economist. Keynes argued that the government should adopt policies of deficit spending, progressive taxation, and the manipulatio of interest rates.
5. Enforce free and fair trade practices with balanced ratios for all trading nations; “Mirror Trading” reflects the principles of “Tit for Tat” in trade practices. End all unfair and imbalanced trading practices.
6. Declare a national emergency to immediately begin drilling for oil in Alaska; ANWR, off shore; shale oil; in all the lower 48 states where oil exists; suspend all needless EPA requirements and delays in the application process; expedite building 25 new oil refineries in 25 states of the lower 48 states; suspend all unnecessary EPA requirements that obstruct the application for building oil refineries
7. Declare a national emergency and begin building 50 new nuclear power plants, one in each of the 50 states; build more clean coal liquid gas plants; suspend all EPA obstructionist regulations in the application and construction stages
8. Repeal the 2008 Bailout act; privatize all banks and lending institutions including Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and Sally Mae, etc.; Capitalism, not socialism.
9. Require a balanced Federal Budget in 2009; close all loopholes for special interest lobbyist groups; stop endless subsidizes, pocket liners, “earmarks” and “entitlement” programs.
10. Cut the number of unnecessary and redundant government programs and personnel employed by the Federal Government by 1/3.
11. Secure America’s borders and end all illegal immigration; stop all subsides for illegal immigrants: jobs, social security, education, ambulance service, hospitalization, health care, medicine, low-interest housing loans, food stamps, or prison; pass H.R. 768 making the English language the official language of the United States and all territories.
12. Today we have 800 military bases in 140 countries around the world; reduce the 800 military bases to 500; close the 300 bases that are absolutely not necessary to maintain our national security interests.
13. Privatize all levels of education in the several states and give private vouchers where needed (cost: $16 billion); repeal the Department of Education Organization Act of 1979 (Public Law 96-88) started by Jimmy Carter; privatizing government schools will result in a $316 billion tax cut; let American keep $300 billion of their own money to build their families as they see fit. Education is the responsibility of parents; Each of the 3,143 Counties, Parishes and Independent shall operate schools under the supervision of a local school boards and parents to teach math, science, and true American history.
14. Enact a Life at Conception Act [H.R. 618]; no subsidization of abortion or funds to Planned Parenthood
15. Decrease Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards to increase the delivery of gasoline to gas stations and reduce the over-the-top EPA emission standards for new automobiles.
16. Repeal the 1990 Clean Air Act and all so-called Global Warming greenhouse gas emission standards; reduce extreme EPA standards that prohibit business growth and remove the “endangered species” list of bugs, birds, fish, and animals.
17. Repeal the multimillion-dollar agriculture subsidies program for large farms that hurt small family farms and raise food costs; stop subsidizing corn ethanol; instead, grow Brazilian Elephant Grass for Biomass as an alternative energy source and grow hemp as a cheap alternative to oil and gas; produce biomass energy from plants which absorb the sun’s energy.
18. Phase out the current Federal Welfare System; encourage job growth, hard work and savings; the policies of redistribution of wealth only multiply the problems of the poor. This is the responsibility of the family and the church. The redistribution of wealth is socialism: the state robs from the rich and gives to the poor (minus 30% for administration). Socialism it theft—the state-enforced “redistribution” of wealth. The rich have a responsibility to help the poor, but the poor have a responsibility not to steal from the rich. Follow the Leviticus 19:15 principle that states: “Always judge your neighbors fairly, neither favoring the poor nor showing deference to the rich.”
19. Support tax-free Health Care Savings Accounts; no Nationalized Health Care program
20. The right and practical thing to do is transfer all responsibilities and jurisdictions of FEMA to the several states. All natural disasters and emergencies are local. Change the name to LEMA or Local Emergency Management Agency.

Thankfully, there has been a refreshing paradigm shift on the road to Washington with the unexpected entrance of a dark horse VP candidate. Her name is Sarah Palin, the first female and youngest Governor of the 49th State. The Alaskan governor is first string. She makes John McCain look better than he already is. Just as John McCain won hands down the Presidential Civic Forum Q&A held at the Saddleback Community Church in Southern California with Author/Pastor Rich Warren, we now have a presidential team who will win the 2008 presidential race for the White House on November 4th.

Consider this: the very fact that most Democrats don’t think Sarah Palin is a good choice for VP is a very good sign that she is in fact the right choice at the right time. While McCain is completely wrong on a number of key issues (global warming (a pagan environmental extremist hoax), stopping all forms of illegal immigration (McCain-Kennedy Immigration Bill–defeated), McCain-Feinberg Bill (so-called campaign reform), he was absolutely brilliant on this pick. Sarah Palin will have a positive influence on John McCain in the areas where he has not yet seen the light. Pray for light to enter the minds of our elected leaders in Washington, DC.

Define political darkness: liberalism, leftism, socialism, Marxism, communism, environmentalism, global warmingism, one-world globalism, UN, radical Islamo-fascism, terrorism, and evolutionism. Light always dispels darkness.

McCain’s selection of this remarkable woman, who is 44, is ‘outstanding’ for a lot of reasons:
1. Sarah Palin will continue to energize conservative religious leaders. Many pro-life conservatives had worried that John McCain would pick an abortion rights supporter as his running mate, but she has called herself ‘as pro-life as any candidate can be.’
2. Adding Sarah Palin to the GOP ticket is ‘guaranteed to energize values voters.’
3. Sarah Palin is a trailblazer and a reformer, a tireless advocate for reform. She took on the old corrupt politics in Alaska, reformed the state’s energy industry, and rejected wasteful pork barrel spending. She believes in limited government.
4. She is fearless and exactly the type of leader we need bring to Washington to fix our dysfunctional governmental system that is overloaded with special interest groups. It’s time to pray for America in general and to pray specifically for John and Sarah.

This ‘wonder woman’ and ‘maverick’ in her own right is an answer to many prayers. She will balance out many of John McCain’s blind spots and weaknesses.

On November 4, 2008, do your civic duty as Citizen Christian and vote for the presidential ticket that is for our founding Judeo-Christian principles. There are four:
1. Life (from womb to tomb; sanctity of life)
2. Liberty (God-given Bill of Rights protections)
3. Pursuit of happiness (government’s role is not to make people happy, but to get out the way and let married couples be fruitful and multiply (children), own property, accumulate wealth, and leave an inheritance and legacy to their children)

UNITIY IN DIVERSITY
In his book, Forward To Freedom, Jerry H. Combee points out that America has been a melting pot, blending our differences and making us all Americans. But in some ways we’re like a salad bowl–tossed together but retaining our dientity: Christians and Jews…blacks and whites…English and Spanish…. At every level of life, when Americans join together in common tasks, they act as one and many. So has it been in government, thanks to federalism–one and many. We’re all Americans. But because of federalism, we are also New Yorkers, Californians, Texans, Georgians, Virginians. We have unity in diversity and diversity in unity–unity, yes, but without uniformity.

UNITY FIRST–DIVERSITY SECOND
The United States is a single nation made up of fifty sovereign states. The many states created the single nation. Principle: unity in diversity—E PLUBIBUS UNUM: out of many—one. The stability of all these governments is dependant upon the self-governed person under God’s government. Unity is one race; diversity is different people groups having a variety of skin tones and physical characteristics as well as gender differences—male and female.

UNIVERSITY
The term “university” comes from two words: unity + diversity. Unity is foundational knowledge based upon truth. Unity America is based upon our nation be united as one nation under God with one language and one basis of law. Unity is one language; diversity is different language groups learning and speaking the English language in the United States. Unity is a Judeo-Christian culture; diversity is the various subcultures without the predominant culture. Diversity without unity results in perversity whether it is in the language, the culture, the borders, or the educational system of a nation.

EVERY VOTE MATTERS
Did you know that in 1776, one vote determined that English, not German, would be the official language of America? Apparently, our elected leaders need to vote on this important issue once again.

Proposed Resolution
The U.S. Congress must pass H.R. 768 making the English language the official language of the United States and all territories, and rescind former President Bill Clinton’s 2000 Executive Order 13166. All Americans must fight against this “Babel mandate” because it uses power that was never delegated by Congress. When Congress wrote the 1964 Civil Rights Law, language was never considered a basis for determining discrimination. It is self-evident that a person’s national origin, which cannot be changed, is not the same as the language someone speaks. America must remain a one language nation.

ENGLISH ONLY
All schools, businesses, hospitals, city governments, and government agencies must conduct their respective business affairs only in the English language; English must be the primary language for commerce and all business transactions in the United States. All purchases in the United States must be tendered in American currency; all government and business documents must be printed only in the English language; all signs, instructions, school lessons and tests, and voting ballots shall be in the English language only. Speaking English should not be considered “discrimination.” The Spanish language ends where the American border begins (unless being taught as a secondary language in institutions of learning). English speaking Americans should not have to push 1 on the phone to speak to someone in English.

BORDERS, LANGUAGE, AND CULTURE
Author and conservative radio talk show host Michael Savage warns that our country is losing its identity, becoming a victim of political correctness, unmonitored immigration, and socialistic ideals: “When it comes to our culture, we’re being told by liberals to let the illegal invaders, as well as the legal newcomers, redefine and reshape our culture into their image.” Our borders, language, and culture are being threatened. It’s time for principled patriotic citizens to defend and protect the freedoms we cherish.

ONE NATION UNDER ONE GOD RULED BY ONE LAW
The United States of America is one nation, under one God; subject to one law, speaking with one voice in one language, the English language. Our one motto: IN GOD WE TRUST.

JUDEO-CHRISTIAN CULTURE
Our culture is Judeo-Christian, but with various subcultures. The United States is made up of 50 red, white, and blue states. We are not a nation divided between red states and blue states.

IN GOD WE TRUST
The American Family Association has launched a national campaign to place before our children a copy of the official motto of the United States as a reminder of the historical centrality of God in the life of our republic. In a time when secularists are working to remove any acknowledgement of God from our public life, these words are legally sound, since they were officially adopted in 1956 by Congress.

SUPERIOR CIVILIZATION
American culture, which is based upon Judeo-Christian traditions and values, is a superior culture; Western civilization is a superior civilization. English is the chosen language for America. America is a one-language nation, not a tower of Babel. American cultural is neither multicultural nor multilingual. Historically, America has been a nation of legal immigrants who have been willing to assimilate. JFK assured the nation: “Immigrants would still be given tests for health, intelligence, morality and security.” Americans must insist that we continue that policy.

A CASE FOR UNITY IN DIVERSITY
Enough is enough already! How many languages should be spoken in America? And, how many languages should our government, our businesses, our hospitals, and our schools be required to accommodate? The problem is not just for Hispanics who speak Spanish. The problem is far broader than that. Did you know that there are more than 320 other tongues that are spoken in America today? This is not just an English language vs. the Spanish language issue. This is about America being united as one nation around one language for all its citizens and legal immigrants to communcate with one another and conduct business.

States like California should not be required to print all government documents in both English and Spanish, teach school in Spanish, give civil service exams in Spanish, or hire people who don’t speak English. As important as communication is, this is also a big pocketbook issue. The economic impact of trying to accommodate multiple languages on our society is counterproductive. Trying to accommodate all cultural groups not only costs big bucks, it causes disunity amoung the diverse subcultures in our great nation.

Room For But One Language Here
President Theodore Roosevelt had it right when he addressed this issue in 1907. President Roosevelt said, “In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American…There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag…We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language… and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.” Amen Teddy!

The “English Only” movement is about making English the official language of the United States. A bill to accomplish this (H.R. 997) was introduced in the House of Representatives in 2007. The U.S. English, Inc. reports that it is supported by more than 80% of all Americans and almost two-thirds of Hispanics, according to polls taken in 2006.

Thirty states already have some sort of English only law. This has not had any significant negative impacts in any of them.

Would you like to continue making America better? Speak it in English only!

Pray that the God of our founding fathers, Author of liberty, will shed His grace on America and heal our land in this area.

The American’s Creed
William Tyler Page, from the State of Maryland, won a nationwide contest in 1917 for “the best summary of American political faith.” The U.S. House of Representatives accepted the statement as the American’s Creed on April 3, 1918. It deserves to be read and recited in public. It reads as follows in English:

I believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.
I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws; to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies.

The Pledge of Allegiance
The last change in the Pledge of Allegiance occurred on June 14 (Flag Day), 1954 when President Dwight D. Eisenhower approved adding the words “under God”. As he authorized this noteworthy change he made this statement:
“In this way we are reaffirming the transcendence of religious faith in America’s heritage and future; in this way we shall constantly strengthen those spiritual weapons which forever will be our country’s most powerful resource in peace and war.”

This was the last change made to the Pledge of Allegiance. The 23 words what had been initially penned for a Columbus Day celebra-tion now comprised a Thirty-one word profession of loyalty and devotion to not only a flag, but to a way of life….the American ideal. Ladies and gentleman, as we honor our flag and our trust in God, with our hand over our heart as a symbol of our patriotism, let us recite the words in English to the pledge, which now reads:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag
of the United States of America
and to the Republic for which it stands,
one nation under God, indivisible,
with Liberty and Justice for all.

What this nation needs is for Congress to pass the American C.O.N. Energy Independence Bill. What is the CON job, you ask? Glad you asked. ‘C’ stands for Coal; ‘O’ stands for Oil; and ‘N’ stands for Nuclear.

The Republican Party is in disarray today because of doubletalk and doublemindedness. Conservatives must clearly and consistently advocate the production of more energy of all kinds, especially coal, oil, and nuclear. But if Republicans want to appear to be as “green” as the Democrats, then its no wonder their message is incoherent. This makes them look insincere and hypocritical. This is not clear thinking. Even big bad John McCain buys into the man-made global warming theory and goes around bashing American oil companies. After all, it is these very oil companies who are producing the oil we put in our gas tanks.

Proposed Resolution for the U.S. Congress: enact policy to develop a positive business friendly C.O.N. energy independence program that will enable the U.S. economy to grow by leaps and bounds. This legislation will increase our national security by freeing us from our dependence on foreign dictators and Middle Eastern oil sources. Congress must pass legislation supporting an American C.O.N. [C = Coal; O = Oil; N = Nuclear] Energy Independence Bill.

Congress. Let “we the people” go! First, remove the block that is preventing us from turning coal into liquid fuel. Second, remove the block that is preventing us from drilling for oil in Alaska, offshore, and in the several states, and from building at least a dozen new oil refineries. Third, remove the block that is preventing us from building at least one nuclear plant in each of the 50 states. “We the people” demand energy independence! We no longer want to have any need for foreign oil. If Democrats in Congress do not consent to the will of the American people, they shall forthwith be removed from their elected position and replaced with someone who hears what we are saying and represents the will of the American people.

This is a world that runs on oil—black gold. There is absolutely nothing bad about the use of fossil fuels. In fact, the opposite is true. America has prospered because we have had plently of energy to fuel our industries and businesses. Fossil fuels do not hurt the environment. CO2 is not a polutant. God put fossil fuels in the earth for man to harvest and use. Drilling for oil and digging for coal are part of man fulfilling the cultural mandate to subdue the earth and have dominion.

The Middle East is the biggest supplier of the world’s oil. The Democratic Party—made up of liberals, elitists, environmentalists, global warming adherents, the Greenies, socialists, communists, and globalists—is the biggest enemy of capitalism, free enterprise, and economic growth in America. The company of Democrats love misery. Misery for the people they were elected to represent. However, they love to control peoples lives through the distribution of wealth, which is socialism, by means of big government.

Henry Kissinger stated, “Control energy and you control the nations.” In his book, American Theocracy, Kevin Phillips writes: “The stakes could hardly be higher. Since the early twentieth century, the world’s age of oil has also been its era of American supremacy. Few doubt the interrelationship. Not merely a symbol of U.S. global power, petroleum has been its fuel for military might, twentieth-century manufacturing supremacy, and the latter-day SUV gas-hog culture. Oil abundance has always been part of what America fights for, as well as with.”

America must develop diverse alternative energy sources. In addition to oil, one of the best sources of energy is nuclear energy. American entrepreneurs should be encouraged to step up and start new energy companies and become leaders in a multi-fuel-based economy.

Proposed Resolution for the U.S. Congress: remove liberal Democratic road blocks that have placed overregulation, costly litigation and red tape bureaucracy ahead of America’s energy and economic superhighway, paving the way into the future. Energy independence must be considered an emergency national security concern. Appropriate action must be taken for America to become energy independent by 2010.

Beyond this, Congress must suspend the use of all American grown corn for ethanol. Corn ethanol is not all it’s cracked-up to be. Ethanol is a poor use of corn. It is hurting our economy by raising fuel and food costs.

Drilling for oil in Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) makes sense, in fact, barrels of dollars and cents. Yet extreme environmentalists twist the facts to turn it into an unnecessary controversy, thus halting the economic progress and oil independence for America. Drilling in ANWR would not harm Alaska’s environment in any way. Only a small portion of the 1.5 million acres of flat and featureless coastal plain of ANWR would be affected. Surface disturbance would be limited to 2,000 acres of the big coastal plain. Imagine a postage stamp compared to a football field. ANWR is a vast wildlife refuge in the biggest state of the United States. And, there are plenty of oil reserves yet to be tapped in some inland states and various offshore sites.

Proposed Resolution for the U.S. Congress: start new oil startup companies to compete with the oil industry giants in exploring and drilling for oil. New companies shall have the right to explore and drill for oil along with the oil industry giants. The Prudhoe Bay on Alaska’s North Slope, and the vast reserve located deep within the glacial bogs of Canada’s Northwest Territories, should be opened up for drilling.

There is no justifiable reason why all Americans cannot continue to enjoy an upwardly mobile and affluent lifestyle, produced from the bountiful supply of energy resources yet to be tapped. Energy in all forms is necessary for America to remain free and prosperous. It is a myth to claim there is a shortage of water and food, or a scarcity of oil and other energy resources on planet earth. To say so is just a scare tactic. In the second edition of his book, The New Wellness Revolution, Paul Zane Pilzer says we must shift our thinking from scarcity in resources to one of an excess of economic abundance and richness. There is a shortage, however, of common sense, and putting the interests of the American people first, among career elitist politicians. Be advised that the agenda of the environmentalist extremists is not in favor of producing greater wealth in America, only creating chaos to prevent capital gains.

Vaclav Klaus, president of the Czech Republic, spoke in Washington at a dinner sponsored by the Competitive Enterprise Institute. He told the truth about radical environmentalism. It’s socialism, he said, or worse. It’s an effort to control your life by claiming that your lifestyle is damaging the environment, he added. The promoters of this insidious ideology are dressing it up in “green” garments in order to fool us into giving up our freedom and independence. His book is titled, Blue Planet in Green Shackles.

Klaus lived under communism. He understands the socialists and the communists and doesn’t want any part of their dangerous ideology. But in order for the American people to accept his analysis, we have to conclude that so-called “Green conservatism” is an oxymoron that not only spells the death of human freedom and economic progress in America.

Consent of the Governed
To secure our God-given rights, our founding fathers instituted our government, which derives its just powers from the consent of the governed. In order for any government to be just, it must have the consent of the governed. In other words, just powers come from the consent of the governed. In America, whenever “we the people’ vote we are giving our consent as to who is going to represent us in government. On the other hand, if the governed do not give their consent, the power is not just. The predictable results are injustice for the governed. “We the people” must make it our business to hold all elected and appointed officials in our representative form of government accountable to whom they were elected or appointed to represent.

The Declaration of Independence
The Declaration of Independence gives definition to the concept of civil rights and a limited government with these words:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”

The moral state of our nation is directly tied to these two sentences and two concepts in the Declaration. The clear language of the Declaration, “Nature’s God” and the “Supreme Judge of the world” gives human rights real meaning.

The Declaration of Independence was a charter of liberties not only for Americans, but for all mankind. The Declaration of Independence proclaimed liberty for Americans on principles that all men may claim. The principles are:
 All men are created equal
 All men are endowed with certain unalienable (unchallengeable or undeniable) rights
 Legitimate government derives from consent of the governed

Government by Consent
The improved science of politics predisposed the business of government to be precise, definite, specific, and limited. The Constitution specified the purpose of government as protection of individual rights. It also prescribed the means by which government can be designed to achieve that end: government based upon the consent of the governed.

Limited Government
In the Declaration of Independence, our forefathers appealed to God’s laws as revealed in nature, and in the Bible as the foundation upon which everything else was built. The purpose of our government is to preserve and protect certain God-given rights for every citizen. Because the framers knew the sinfulness of human nature and did not trust it, they decided upon three principles of power. They are:
1. The people grant powers to a central government, with limited powers.
2. Three branches of government balance the distribution of power within the central government. This concept followed the pattern based upon Isaiah 33:22. “The Lord is our Judge, our lawgiver, and our King.” In other words, God is the ultimate government and He considers Himself to be Judge, Lawgiver, and King. Therefore, America needs a judiciary, a legislative, and an executive branch.
(1) Congress is the branch of government given responsibility to make the laws, not the Courts.
(2) The president executes these laws, not the Courts.
(3) The courts only interpret the law. They apply laws; they do not make them.
3. Various checks and balances by each branch upon the others would keep any one branch from gaining more power than the people had intended.

Ministers of God
The basic outline of the duties of government is found in Romans 13:4. Every civil ruler has an obligation to be “God’s minister” for the good and the right.
In Greek thought, the gods were in service of the state; in the Bible the state is in service of God. Government is not something man invented. Whenever people speak about the home, the church, or the government, they are speaking about the three institutions divinely ordained by God. Romans 13:1-7 teaches respect for authority in government.

As God’s Minister, the Ruler has Two Responsibilities:
1. He must do good.
2. He must punish evildoers.

If we discard the law, we are left to wander aimlessly, with no basis for justice, no means of recognizing it, and no principles with which to apply it. David Chilton reminds us that without God’s law, we have nothing but the “justice” of autonomous, rebellious humanism—which is to say, injustice. Conservatives and Libertarians are both fond of talking about “the rule of law”; but if it is not the rule of God’s law, it is nothing but anarchy, the rule of lawlessness.

Limited Task of Government
The Founding Fathers believed that government is necessary to counteract certain tendencies in human nature that cause us to want to violate the rights of others. Because all men are sinful in nature, all men need some form of government, the best form being self-government. Government exists to hold back evil, not to perfect man. The Founding Fathers thought this task was best left to families, churches, other forms of organizations, and to individuals themselves. Thus, within limits, each man should be able to pursue his own happiness as he defines it. Government exists not to define or guarantee happiness, but only to protect our rights to the pursuit of our own destiny or what makes us happy.
Government is to reward the externally obedient by protecting them from the externally disobedient. The role of government is not to make men virtuous. Biblically, the role of the state is to suppress external evil: murder, violence, theft, rape, and so forth. Its role is not to redistribute wealth, grant entitlements, nationalize industries, seize property, furnish medical care, or educate its citizen’s children.

Without Consent of the Governed
Here are just a few cases in point which historically demonstrate the abuse and misuse of power by elected and appointed government officials who have completely ignored the will of the American people. All three branches of our tri-part government are guilty of enacting laws and policies which are contrary to the consent of the people. These examples include: U.S. Presidents, the U.S. Congress, and State and Federal Courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.

Cases of “Without Consent of the Governed”
I. The Sad History of Social Security
Franklin Delano Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. FDR promised:
1. That participation in the SS program would be completely voluntary
2. That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual incomes into the program
3. That the money the participants elected to put into the
program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year
4. That the money the participants put into the independent
‘Trust Fund’ rather than into the general operating fund, and
therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security retirement program, and no other Government program
5. That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be
taxed as income

Many Americans have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month only to
find out that they are getting taxed on 85% of the money they paid to the Federal government to supposedly ‘Put Away’ in a secure trust fund.

The first year that Congress voted to remove funds from Social Security and put it into the General Fund for Congress to spend was 1958. It was passed by a democratically controlled Congress. The illogical logic at that time was that there was so much money in Social Security Fund that it would never run out and would be used up for the purpose it was intended or set aside for.

Then President Lyndon B. Johnson and the democratically controlled House and Senate took Social Security from the Independent ‘Trust Fund’ and put it into the General Fund so that Congress could spend it?

Then the Democratic Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding.

Then the Democratic Party, with Albert Arnold Gore, Jr., casting the ‘tie-breaking’ deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the US, started taxing Social Security annuities.

It was President Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party that decided to start giving Annuity payments to immigrants.
Immigrants who moved into this country began to receive Social Security payments at age 65! The Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into the system!

Then, after violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and lie to the America people by telling them that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away! Bottom-line: The Social Security System—neither social nor secure.

And the worst part about all this is that uninformed citizens believe it and continue to vote for more of the same–Liberals and Leftists!

In 1983 the National Commission on Social Security Reform was created in response to the actuarial unsoundness of the system. The Social Security system today isn’t social and it isn’t secure. In fact, it’s broken and broke. There are no actual monies in the Social Security Fund to date. Social Security is the world’s largest (legal) chain letter. Each SS cardholder has a worthless piece of paper in their file with three letters on it: IOU. If Social Security is such a good deal for everyone, then why is it that so many people want out?

The biblical principle of civil justice is the antithesis of all socialism. Jesus said, “You will always have the poor among you, and you can help them whenever you want to.” The U.S. Federal bureaucracy extorts, as administration expenses, at least half of the Federal government’s total expenditures on welfare programs to pay the growing horde of middle-class bureaucrats who administer the government-mandated anti-poverty programs.

We cannot reject the idea of judicially binding biblical blue-prints in civil government and economics. Keynesianism and so-called Christian socialism are both unbiblical, making the problem of poverty all the worse. Leviticus 19:15 establishes a fundamental principle of justice: the impartial application of God’s legal standards to all men, irrespective of their wealth or status. The socialist proclaims the need for equality of economics results, not equality before the law.

James Maynard Keynes [Canes] was a defunct economist. What he advocated was totally wrong. In fact, the very opposite of what Keynes predicted has come to pass. Keynes argued that the government should adopt policies like deficit spending, progres-sive taxation, and the manipulation of interest rates. He was an advocate of price inflation as a remedy for unemployment. He reasoned that if there were more paper money and credit, it would be easier to employ more people—even though the actual purchasing power of the money will be lower. Laborers will accept lower real wages (fewer goods and services), so employers will hire them.

The socialist blames poverty on the capitalist system, not on scarcity, and not on the immoral behavior of the poor.

Lady Justice, or the Roman goddess Justitia, has, since the Renaissance, been portrayed as a blindfolded woman holding a sword in one hand and the scales of justice in the other. These are the symbols of biblical justice. The Bible requires equality before the law. Gary North states: The inescapable result of impartial civil justice is economic inequality. This is an affront to all defenders of the corporate State. They want to redistribute wealth by State compulsion, either through State ownership of the means of production (socialism) or through adjusting the incentives of the economy, even though legal ownership remains with private individuals or organizations.

There are factors that frequently bring people under the negative sanction of poverty, e.g., the universal curse as a result of the Fall, wickedness, and sloth. God is on the side of the righteous: the righteous poor, the righteous middle class, and the righteous rich. God is impartial. He is no respecter of persons. Those who are great achievers are given great rewards. Those who are average achievers are given average rewards. Those who are below-average achievers are given below-average rewards. You get what you deserve.

When it comes to our personal finances, do we really trust in God, or do we trust in the State? Gary DeMar states: A certain segment of the population is afraid of freedom, primarily the elderly. The side you take in the present Social Security debate says a lot about your view of economic and political freedom. While tyranny is often forced upon a population from the muzzle of a gun, it can also be imposed gradually on a savior-starved people. The his-tory of socialism and communism is the history of how people prefer slavery—in the name of security—over freedom.

Personalization Works
Gary DeMar tells the following true story: In 1981, employees of Galveston County, Texas, chose to leave SS for a private alternative. At first, not everyone was in favor of the innovative idea. The unions (naturally) opposed it. Employees deposited approximately the same amount of money in private accounts. To date, the funds have achieved an average 8.64 percent annual rate of return since inception. Many of these retirees are millionaires today, living off the interest, and are free to pass their estates on to their children. This can never happen under Social Security. My father used to say: “Welfare isn’t well and isn’t fair.”

Consider this scenario:
A man and his wife have paid into SS since the first day they went to work—forty-five years of SS payments. They both reach retirement age on the same day. On the way to the mailbox to pick up their first checks, they are killed by a drunk driver. Their estate gets nothing. The money is lost. No inheritance.

Remember: Words have meaning, ideas have consequences, and actions speak louder than bumper stickers.

It’s high time for “we the people” to take control of our own government. If we do not consent to what our elected and appointed officials, they must be removed from office for breech of contract.

The original intent of our founding fathers was for the federal government to be limited in its control over citizens lives and business. What would limited government do for our national security and economy?

First, we need to elect conservatives in the House and Senate who believe in limited government and know why they were sent to Washington in the first place–to represent the interests of the American people.

Limited government does not need high taxes. We do not need lower taxes, but low taxes. This would be best accomplished by the Fair Tax Act. Everybody, rich and poor alike, would pay the same amount of tax only on what they consume. This is a plan whose time has come.

Don’t say it can’t or won’t happen. What Americans need to do the create a 2nd Boston Tea Party and demand that Congress passes the Fair Tax Plan.

In 1776, America’s Founding Fathers took up arms to fight taxation, which scholars estimate was between 3% and 5%. Today we pay ten times that amount in taxes. Is America a nation of slaves? Is this still the “land of the free?”

The concepts and ideas in The Fair Tax Book co-authored by talk radio personality Neal Boortz and Georgia Congressman John Linder, published in 2005, shall be put into law. The fair tax would create a win/win relationship between the taxpayer and the government it elects to public service.

Proposed Resolution for the U.S. Congress: enact the Fair Tax (H.R. 25/S. 1025) proposal in the U.S. Congress to change tax laws to replace the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and all federal income taxes (including AMT), payroll taxes (including Social Security and Medicare taxes), corporate taxes, capital gains taxes, gift taxes, and estate taxes with a national retail sales tax, to be levied once at the point of purchase on all new goods and services; promote freedom, fairness, and economic opportunity by repealing the 1913 income tax; no property tax on buildings, vehicles or land (principle: don’t tax the root; only the fruit—production at the time of consumption). The Supreme Court has ruled that the income tax was unconstitutional. With the passage of the Fair Tax, it will be necessary to abolish the Internal Revenue Service [IRS].

Will Rogers was right on the money when he said, “The only difference between death and taxes is that death doesn’t get worse every time Congress meets.”

Proposed Resolution for the U.S. Congress: expedite building twelve (12) oil refineries in the U.S., beginning sixty (60) days from the bill’s passage. Oil is the fuel that drives our economy. So what if we’re addicted to oil. It ranks right up there with oxygen, and we need both. There are plenty of untapped resources under God’s green earth just waiting for some oilrig to drill down and pump it up. The science of economics must be based on the presupposition of abundance, not scarcity.

U.S. oil production has been slumping inexorably from its peak in 1970. The best replacement option is clear: drill for oil wherever it is known to exist in the U.S., and build 12 new oil refineries from coast to coast. The oil refineries shall be located in the following states: 1 in Alaska; 2 in California; 1 Colorado; 1 in Florida; 1 in Louisiana; 1 in Ohio; 1 in Pennsylvania; 1 in Utah; 2 in Texas; and 1 in Wyoming.

The price for a gallon of gasoline has risen for at least five reasons: (1) dependence on foreign oil imports; (2) supply and demand; (3) high government tax per gallon; (4) government regulations in production, octane rating, and delivery; and (5) prohibition against drilling for oil on American soil.

Influenced by the environmentalist extremists who claim they want to save the planet, the liberals continually vote against drilling for oil. Liberals are the domestic enemies of America. They hate capitalism. The American people need to wake-up and vote for people who will represent the economic interests of the people who vote them into office.

Are liberals in Congress any better than Myamar’s repressive regime who block the much needed disaster response to their own people? This is injustice at the hand of self-centered government officials at the expense of innocent people who have suffered great loss do to a natural disaster.
Our federal government is in the hands of 535 elected officials. The American people are too tolarant of the people they elect to office. Our representatives must be held accountable. Liberals and Leftists are selling out our great country to special interest groups. Wake-up America!

Ideas Have Consequences
It seems too bad to be true, but Liberals in our American government have bought into godless ideologies that in the end are destructive to society.

Marxism
Marxism is the philosophy of Karl Marx (1818-183), who wrote ideas in Das Kapital. Marxism teaches that everyone who gets rich does so at the expense of the poor; that labor is the only source of value; that the lower classes are always exploited by the upper classes; that landowners should be dispossessed, and that all property should be held in common, jointly “owned” by all; that people should have only what they really need.

Communism
Communism is generally synonymous with socialism, in which all economic activity is controlled by the state. Since 1928, it has been used by Communists to refer to the professed goal of socialism, when all property will be held in common by all, and there will be no need for civil government. It is an unbiblical and unrealizable goal.

Socialism
Socialism is governmental control—or outright ownership—of the means of production. Thus, the state monopolizes everything in the market, determining what will be produced, who will produce it, how it will be produced, who will be able to get the product, and how it will be used. All interventionist practices have socialism as their logical outcome, since you cannot fully control one part of the economy without controlling all the other parts. Socialism’s ultimate objective is complete government domination. What socialists don’t realize, or refuse to recognize, is that biblical principles and God control the economy.

Statism
Statism is the practice of giving the government progressively unlimited powers. It is a violation of God’s law, when rulers attempt to play god by controlling the lives and activities of their subjects. The Bible severely limits the powers of the state, and when the state transgresses these limits it is, essentially, claiming deity, “to be as God.” Statism includes all forms of interventionism and socialism.

German Supremacist
Hitler was a devout evolutionist; a follower of Nietzsche and Haeckel; he taught evolution to his troops; he talked about the evolution of the god-man (becoming God); he determined to create a super race by getting rid of the inferior races; he believed the Aryan race was superior to other races, including Jews, Gypsies, and Slavs. Bear in mind Martin Luther King, Jr.’s profound statement: “Never forget that everything Hitler did in Germany was legal.”

Nazi
Nazi is the popular term for one who belonged to Adolph Hitler’s National Socialist German Workers Party. Nazis believed that capitalism was an unfair system of exploitation; that government should manage the economy; that price controls and minimum wage laws were good; and that credit expansion can make a country prosperous.

Ironically, these same ideas are popular among the liberals and leftists of today.

Limited government is in the best interest of the people of this great nation. Big government is in the selfish interest of the elites and special interest groups who love money and power and care virually nothing about the people who put them in office.

Do you like high gas prices? Do you want to keep paying high prices for food? Do you think Americans should be loosing their jobs because of our lack of energy efficiency?

We Just Need A Few Good Men
America needs just a few good men who believe in a good cause. Americans must demand a limited government and energy efficiency now! Are you dedicated to a cause? Where do you stand?

OIL: DRILL HERE - DRILL NOW - PAY LESS!!!

So what if we’re addicted to oil? We’re also addicted to oxygen. We need both for survival. Oil, the best source of energy, is as close as drilling for it on American soil.

Conservatives must fight against high gas prices and the politicians who have made them higher by voting to block oil companies from drilling for oil in Alaska, North Dakota, and Colorado, etc. And if that’s not studpid enough, now, supporters of the Warner-Lieberman global warming bill are trying to pass a hidden tax scheme. Liberals and Leftists are out-of-touch with the energy needs of the American people.

A dark cloud of stupidity has blanketed Washington, DC that makes liberal Senators forget why they were elected.

Next week, the Senate is set to begin debate on the Warner-Lieberman global warming bill; a “lose-lose” bill. If this bill is passed, the price of energy will go up for all Americans. Gasoline, diesel fuel, heating oil and aviation fuel will be higher than it is now. The supporters of this bill are misguided and out-of-touch with the needs of the American people.

If Lieberman-Warner becomes law, and even if it works perfectly, none of the so-called economic damage claimed to be caused by global warming will be prevented. Environmental groups distort science to deceive the American public and advance their liberal anti-capitalist agenda. No scientific study can show Lieberman-Warner will lower the Earth’s temperature. Lieberman-Warner is a “lose-lose” because it will raise the cost of driving to work, heating your home, and feeding your family.

Contact your Senator and tell him or her to vote “no” on Warner-Lieberman because it would be nothing but more government regulations and hidden taxes. Americans have a good choice to produce more, enjoy more, pay less, and stengthen American.

The Gaia Religion
The religion of Global Warming is rooted in the Gaia philosophy, which is named after a Greek goddess of the Earth. It is a broadly inclusive term for related concepts that living organisms on a planet will affect the nature of their environment – to make it more suitable for life. Earthism is the worship of Mother Nature. Mother Nature is not a person but an expression. The Psalmist said, “The earth is the LORD’s.” Earth is God’s planet, not Animal Kingdom. God spent three out of six days creating earth to be a habitable environment for man. The third rock from the sun is the only planet in the universe where life exists.

Power Hungry Politicans
The alarmist religion of Global Warming has replaced the God of Creation with the god of nature; it is anti-God and elevates the animal kingdom and the environment above human beings who are created in God’s image; this extremist movement is a communistic backdoor approach to hinder and hurt the economic growth of the United States of America. Environmentalists are like drunks—they see things no one else sees. They suffer from delusion. To believe in global warning is to believe in Harvey the invisible white rabbit. Environmentalist religion has made them dangerous drunks, craving restrictive control and abusive power.
Global warming is a hoax. Evolutionary scientists believe that global warming is occurring because of the cosmic forces (solar radiation) striking the earth from outer space.

Earth Worship
Christianity is at war with paganism. The public resurrection of occultism in the West after 1965 has been accompanied by the resurgence of Earth worship, animism, and a self-consciously pagan environmentalist movement. The push for more EPA regulations and the hysteria over Global Warming came to life after the revitalization of occultism in America.

Enemies of Growth
To escape the thought of a final judgment, environmentalists invented a theory of the heat death of the universe—global warming. The universe is supposedly being pushed, by the second law of thermodynamics, toward absolute zero and total randomness.

God commanded man to cultivate the earth, not baby-sit it. The Bible teaches that God’s blessings can continue until the end of time, and one of these blessings is mankind’s population growth and rapidly growing food supplies to keep up with the demand. This fact points to the Second Coming of Christ, not the heat death of the universe in billions of years. Mankind’s limits are covenantal, not temporal. Nature is not autonomous and man is not under nature. Both man and nature are under a Creator God.

The Interfaith Stewardship Alliance (ISA) has reached the following conclusions regarding so-called Global Warming:
(1) Climate changes are well within the bounds of natural variability, in which Earth’s climate has warmed and cooled cyclically throughout its history.
(2) Changes are largely natural in origin.
(3) Changes are unlikely to be catastrophic to humanity or the rest of the biosphere.
(4) Changes are not susceptible to significant reduction by any actions humans take.
(5) Climate changes are far from the most serious threat to humanity and the rest of our environment.

The Most Serious Threat
The most serious threat to America is liberalism and Leftist ideology when implemented. They are a “lose-lose” philosophy of government–dangerous and deadly. These unbiblical philosophies are taking America in the wrong direction–away from our Judeo-Christian roots and our conservative principles.

Which Direction?
Consider this question: which direction is best for America? The road to the right or the road to the left? Conservative or Liberal? Capitalist or Socialist? Lower Taxes or Higher Taxes? Limited Government or Big Government? ‘No’ to illegal immigration or ‘Yes’ to Amnesty? Power to the People or Power to the Government? Private Health Care or Government Health Care? Freedom of Religion or Freedom from Religion? One Nation Under God or Divided Nation Over God? Education or Indoctrination? Real Science or Contra-Science? ‘Yes’ to a Culture of Life or ‘Yes’ to a Culture of Death? ‘Yes’ to Man and Woman in Marriage or ‘Yes’ to Same-Sex Marriage or Civil Unions? Judeo-Christian Values or San Francisco Values? Newt Gingrich Style of Leadership or Nancy Pelosi Style of Leadership? Use of Power or Abuse of Power? Rush Limbaugh or Fairness Doctrine?
